Over the past couple of weeks I, rather belatedly, picked up a cheap copy of the first of Naughty Dog’s Uncharted games, Drake’s Fortune. I completed that and waited with baited breath for the second instalment to be released, which it was on Friday. That scuppered my weekend plans. Here is my comparison of the two. By ‘comparison’ I mainly mean ‘opinion’, ’spoilers’ and ‘lies’ – you can find plenty of accurate information about both of these games elsewhere if you require that kind of edifying, relevant waffle.

Released in 2003, Tor is a piece of software that allows its users to tunnel through the internet, ignoring international boundaries. It has enabled citizens living under harsh dictatorship to access non-government sanctioned web sites and helps in the eternal pursuit of anonymity while browsing. There’s a lot to be said about the Tor network as well as its potential uses and abuses. However that is not the thrust of this post. I’ll come back to that another day.

This evening I completed an indie adventure game called The Blackwell Convergence. It’s the third part in the Blackwell series and over the past 48 hours I’ve finished all three. Before purchasing the games (as a complete set from the Wadjet Eye Games website) I read a number of reviews focusing on each of them individually.
